Plan for mega shed scheme at Corby steelworks
A major industrial warehouse scheme totalling 1.85m sq ft is being planned on part of Tata’s steelworks site in Corby, Northamptonshire.
Developer WD Westworks, a subsidiary of Warmflame Developments, has submitted outline plans for three big sheds on the brownfield site.
The largest is expected to be just over 1m sq ft in size rising to 32m, with the other two around 540,000 sq ft and 300,000 sq ft in size and 25m tall.Designed by Newark-based UMC Architect, the scheme is targeting BREEAM
