Piling work to start on £55m rail electrification scheme

The first phase of a rail decarbonisation scheme to electrify 25kms of track south of the Forth Bridge in Fife has been approved to move to construction phase.
Transport Scotland and Network Rail have developed the scheme which will commence this month to electrify the section between Haymarket and Dalmeny.
