A new ‘Fair Payment Code’ goes live today in a bid to highlight construction’s best payers.
The code, overseen by the Small Business Commissioner Liz Barclay, introduces a gold, silver, and bronze system to reward best payment practices and help smaller firms identify reliable and trusted partners.New Code ranking categories
Gold – For companies paying 95% of their suppliers within 30 days
Silver – For companies paying 95% of their small business suppliers
