Menai Bridge shut over structural safety fears

Structural engineers ordered the sudden closure of the Menai Bridge in Anglesey on Friday afternoon following safety inspections.
The decision was made following recent testing of the bridge’s existing hangers as part of an ongoing maintenance programme.
