Managing director leaves HS2 tunnel segment supplier

A new managing director has taken over at Stanton Precast.
The firm is supplying giant precast concrete segments being used to build a new HS2 “green tunnel” in Northamptonshire.
The Enquirer revealed last month that “quality issues” have been found on the initial batch of segments manufactured by Stanton Precast at its plant in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.Tests are still underway on the segments on the 2.5km Chipping Warden Green Tunnel where work started earlier this year.
