M&J Evans moves into new market as profits jump

Groundworks specialist M&J Evans is diversifying into the utilities sector alongside its traditional house building work.
The move helped the contractor post a strong set of results with pre-tax profits for the year to December 31 2025 up to £8m from £3.8m last time on turnover up to £374.3m from £323.3m.
