M&E specialist Spie UK arm returns to profit

French-owned M&E contractor Spie returned to profit in the UK last year despite seeing delays in new projects coming forward.
As a result revenue fell by around a fifth to £148m, but the firm remained profitable after earlier restructuring delivering a £2.5m profit after plunging to a £22m loss in the Covid-impacted 2020 accounts.
