London City planners to fast-track office retrofits

Planning chiefs at the City of London Corporation are considering a ‘retrofit fast-track’ planning policy to meet demand for Best in Class offices in the Square Mile.
They will also relax restrictions on change-of-use proposals for historic city office buildings that cannot cost-effectively be upgraded to grade A
