Kier to start new £400m ‘smart’ prison this autumn

Kier has signed the contract to build a new £400m prison in East Yorkshire with construction set to start this autumn.
The new Category C prison will be designed from top-to-bottom with the latest smart technology to cut crime and protect the public when it opens in 2025.
