Iconic London store OK’d for £120m retrofit
A planned retrofit of London’s landmark Barkers of Kensington department store has gained planning.
Relsa Properties has engaged architect Emrys to revive the Grade II listed Art Deco building as a prime office location.Contractors BAM, Sir Robert McAlpine, ISG and Willmott Dixon Interiors are understood to be in the hunt for the £120m Barkers fit-out job.
