House builders hail return of Help to Buy-style loans

House builders have welcomed Government plans to revive Help to Buy-style equity loans in a bid to kick-start the struggling new-build housing market.
The new Your First Home scheme will allow eligible first-time buyers in England to purchase a new-build home with a deposit of just 2.5%, backed by a Government equity loan worth up to 20% of the property value.
