Hinkley workers evacuated from site after scaffold fire

Construction workers at Hinkley Point C were evacuated from the giant nuclear site last night when a fire broke out on some scaffolding.
Site fire crews and the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service tackled the blaze.
Hinkley Point C authorities said: “Fire crews from Hinkley Point C and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service have attended a scaffolding fire on the construction site near Unit 1.“Workers were evacuated from the area and there are no reports of injuries at thi
