Higgins returns to profit after restructure

Essex housing specialist Higgins Group has returned to profit after restructuring the business.
While revenue at the group continued to slide falling 10% to £151m, the firm recorded a £203,000 pre-tax profit in the year to July 2021, back from a 3.7m loss the year before.
Higgins Partnerships, the contracting arm of the group, raised revenue by 43% in the year to £125m, as its benefitted from the start of several delayed schemes from the previous Covid-impacted year.Underlying
