Groundworks firm went under owing suppliers £4m

House building groundworks specialist Avtar Construction went into administration owing more than 250 subcontractors and suppliers £4.4m.
The scale of debts at the Swindon-based civils and groundworks specialist was revealed in a report filed at Companies House after administrators from FRP Advisory took charge of the business last month.
