Green light for UK’s first carbon capture power station

Keadby 3 Carbon Capture Power Station in the Humber has become the UK’s first carbon capture and storage project to receive planning permission.
The Government granted development consent yesterday to plans to build a 910MW combined cycle gas turbine power station, with carbon capture and compression plant.
