Green light for Birmingham 540-bed student scheme

Revised plans have been approved for a 540-bed student accommodation block in Birmingham City Centre.
Joint developers MRP and Vita plan to start construction at the Gough Street site this summer hoping to complete in Summer 2026 to coincide with the start of the academic year.
Alongside 540 studio apartments, the project will feature private dining rooms, a gym, and outdoor terrace.Max Bielby, chief operating officer for Vita Group said: “We’re delighted to achieve planning consent
