Government set to apply brakes to HS2 phase 2 programmes

The Government is set to unveil plans to slow down the delivery of future phases of HS2 in a bid to combat soaring inflation on the project.
HS2 has been working with Government in a renewed attempt to cut costs from the over-budget project.
