Go-ahead for net zero carbon £78m hotel tower

Planning permission has been granted for the £78m room2 Hometel project to build the UK’s first net zero carbon tower.
Work will transform the 12-16 Piccadilly in Manchester to feature a 34-storey tower and the sensitive conversion of an adjacent Grade II listed building by developer, Lamington Group.
