GMI lands £24m Birmingham Dogpool Lane student job

GMI Construction has been appointed by specialist student accommodation development company Alumno Group on a £24m student accommodation scheme on Dogpool Lane in Birmingham.
Construction will start next month on the project which will see the redevelopment of a currently underused former BT brownfield site.
Work will take 86 weeks including a 16-week demolition phase  with Alumno planning to have the new building completed for the 2023 student intake.Andy Bruce, GMI Divisional Managi
