Galliford Try buys Coventry control systems firm for £1

Galliford Try has bought Coventry-based industry and utility control systems specialist MCS Controls Systems for £1.
The West Midlands firm employs around 80 staff.
It designs and installs electrical, automation and manufacturing IT system solutions for a wide range of industrial market sectors, with its main area of operations being the water and wastewater treatment sector.Founded in 1976, MCS  generated revenue of £10m in 2020, but suffered a pre-tax loss of £0.5m and h
