Flagship £200m London Premier Inn scheme approved

Whitbread has got the green light for a flagship Premier Inn scheme near Trafalgar Square on the Strand.
The near 700-bedroom hub by Premier Inn hotel, which will be one of London’s largest budget hotels when it opens, will start construction next year.The consented 16,000 sq m hotel at 5 Strand will be set over 13 storeys fronting onto the Strand and Northumberland Street to the east of the site
