Five trades join ‘eased’ work visa list

Five more construction trades will be added to the UK’s shortage occupation list (SOL) to make it easier for migrants to apply for work visas to fill job vacancies.
The decision to allow in five more lowly-paid trades was revealed in the Budget as a measure to help employers plug the skills gap.
