First plans go in for vast Royal Docks scheme

Developer Arada has submitted a series of planning applications to the London Borough of Newham for the £2.5bn Thameside West site between the Thames and Royal Docks.
The plans detail the first 1,500 home stage across six buildings on the 47 acres site which will eventually deliver at least new 5,000 homes in east London.
