Final phase of £1.5bn Elephant and Castle revamp hits planning

Build-to-rent giant Get Living has submitted revised plans for the final piece of its £1.5bn regeneration jigsaw at Elephant and Castle in London.
Dubbed the West Site, the third and final phase cluster of high rises will replace the old London College of Communication student buildings, which are making way for a new university campus being built across the road.
The revised proposals include 507 rental homes with 165 set aside as affordable, alongside the introduction of 452 student beds
