Extra tunnels included in £6bn East West Rail scheme

The Government has unveiled details of the proposed East West Rail project following its commitment to fund the project in the last Budget.
Plans include a new section of railway between Bedford and Cambridge, including building new stations at Tempsford and Cambourne, and upgrades to the existing railway between Oxford and Bedford.
