Ex-construction minister quits cladding repair firm

Former construction minister and Conservative peer Lord Richard Harrington has resigned as chairman of a contractor specialising in remediation work on unsafe cladding he joined just three months ago.
Harrington joined Intelligent FS as Chairman and Director last November.
He was construction minister from June 2017 to March 2019.Intelligent FS was set-up in 2016 but is expanding rapidly after winning a £31m government contract to help tackle the post-Grenfell cladding crisis.
