Contractors unveiled for £250m battery storage site

Fidra Energy has confirmed the contracting team for its £250m West Burton C battery energy storage project in Nottinghamshire after agreeing funding for the scheme.
Construction of West Burton C will begin later this year and it is expected to become fully operational in 2028 on the site of the former West Burton coal power station.
