Contractor consultation starts on £5bn reservoir building plan

Anglian Water is starting market engagement with all-tier contractors on its ambitious plan to build two major reservoir projects.
The £5bn Lincolnshire and Fens Reservoir Programme is expected to go out to tender on in January 2027.
Anglian said the main works contract procurement and packaging strategy was at an early phase of development and it now aimed to engage interested parties.
