Construction output falls at slowest rate since January

Construction buyers have seen the slowest downturn in industry output for eight months.
The bellwether S&P Global UK Construction Purchasing Managers’ Index recorded 46.1 in September – up from 44.3 in August but still below the 50 growth mark.
Slower rates of contraction were seen in all the residential, commercial and civil engineering segments.
