Construction arm lifts Muir Group back to profit growth

Muir Group returned to stronger growth last year after its construction business more than doubled profits, helping lift group turnover nearly a third to £114m.
The Scottish contractor posted pre-tax profit of just over £3m for the year to January 2026, up from £320,000 a year earlier, while cash balances climbed from £12m to £21m.
