Bowmer & Kirkland boosts margins as profits surge to £69m

Derby-based building contractor and property business Bowmer & Kirkland has shrugged off market jitters to lift pre-tax profits by nearly 30% to £69m as turnover nudged up to £1.29bn.
The contractor also beefed up its operations paying £20m to buy Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, as well as opening new regional bases in Bristol, Cambridge and Glasgow during the year to August 2024.
