Barratt go-ahead for 260 flats at old London gas works

Barratt London has got the planning green light to build more than 260 flats at a former South London gas works site.
The six-block mid-rise scheme in Sydenham was designed by dMFK Architects taking inspiration from the neighbouring Grade II Listed Livesey Memorial Hall.
Located at the gateway to a retail park, the Bell Green Works plot previously housed two gasholders, which were decommissioned and dismantled in 2020.The blocks of flats will range in height between five and 14 storeys.
