BAM, Arup and Amey win £2bn Network Rail contract

A collaborative construction consortium has been appointed to deliver the next phase of the Transpennine Route Upgrade West project – which at £2bn is the largest single contract by value awarded by Network Rail.
Working together the TRUWest Alliance of BAM, Arup, Amey, and Network Rail will deliver the next phase of the TRUWest project over three and a half years completing in 2028.
BAM and Amey will share £800m each with the remainder to Arup on design related work.
