Balfour tops January contracts league with £1.2bn order

Balfour Beatty took pole position in the rankings for work won in the first month of 2023 after landing a monster £1.2bn order for the northern approach route to the planned Lower Thames Crossing.
The firm will be responsible for the design and delivery of over 10 miles of new highways, connecting the M25 at Junction 29 and the A13 with the proposed Lower Thames Crossing tunnel at Tilbury, Essex.Top 10 contractors ranked by value of new orders taken in January
