Amey lands twin Northern Powerhouse Rail roles

Amey has bagged two Northern Powerhouse Rail deals to help shape upgrades across Yorkshire.
Network Rail’s latest award puts the consultant in charge of making six projects work together as one railway.
It follows a separate win to develop Leeds to Sheffield corridor upgrades, paving the way for more trains and faster journeys.Both deals were awarded through Network Rail’s Development and Design Partnership Framework. Contract values have not been disclosed.
