£600m Westminster housing estate plan advances

Westminster City Council is advancing plans for its flagship regeneration project around Marylebone’s Church Street market area.
The council plans to redevelop three major sites to deliver over 1,100 new homes, of which at least 50% will be affordable.
This will involve full demolition of the massive Church Street Estate, first identified in 2010 as one of the five priority housing estates for housing renewal.
