£350m flats plan for Birmingham shopping landmark

Birmingham developer Sphere Group, formerly Court Collaboration, is pushing ahead with plans for a £350m transformation of the former Rackhams department store and neighbouring office buildings.
The developer is preparing to unveil its vision for the landmark city centre site on Thursday, with more than 500 homes and 225,000 sq ft of office space planned.
Sphere is acting as development partner for freehold owner Legal & General on the project, which will breathe new life into the form
