£350m Birmingham triple tower scheme approved

Developer Commercial Estates Group has secured planning for a triple tower scheme of over 1750 flats on the site of the vast curving Ringway Centre block on the southern boundary of Smallbrook Queensway in central Birmingham.
Planners gave the go-ahead for a hybrid application consisting of detailed plans for a 48-storey tower, including a 9-storey podium, comprising 571 build to rent flats, and outline plans for two other towers rising to 44 and 56 storeys.
