£1bn heatwave hit sparks resilience spending call
The Institution of Civil Engineers is calling on Government to commission an independent economic review to kick-start investment in making UK infrastructure more resilient to climate change.
ICE said a major review of the costs and benefits of climate adaptation could have the same impact on resilience policy as the Stern Review had on cutting carbon emissions.
