Several States Enacting Call Center Relocation Laws and Fines

A number of U.S. states have introduced legislation or passed laws to stop the steady flow of call center relocations to other states and countries. The legislation is designed to slow the number of relocations and fine businesses that fail to provide appropriate notice and keep their domestic call centers sufficiently staffed.
