Cryobioprinted human tumor models with shelf-stable programmability

Storable pancreatic tumor–stroma models were fabricated using tissue-specific and cryoprotective bioinks. Cryobioprinting and cryopreservation did not significantly affect the bioengineered constructs, given that thawed 3D in vitro models retained key hallmarks found in the native neoplasia.
