Yesomi Umolu Takes Top Serpentine Galleries Post with Focus on Structural Change

Yesomi Umolu, the director and curator of Logan Center Exhibitions at the University of Chicago, has been named the inaugural director of curatorial affairs and public practice at the Serpentine Galleries in London. The newly formed see Umolu overseeing all curatorial, interpretation, and editorial operations at the museum.Umolu, who has written and lectured on how art institutions can address issues of diversity, will be tasked with fostering a more inclusive audience experience at Serpentine.
