Richard Brettell, Impressionism Scholar Who Transformed Texas Art Scene, Has Died at 71
Richard Brettell, a former director of the Dallas Museum of Art in Texas and arts educator, has died at age 71. According to the publication Glasstire, the cause of Brettell’s death was cancer.
