Body Image: New Sculpture at Various Small Fires
One of the first works seen when entering “Psychosomatic,” a summer group exhibition curated by Los Angeles artist Isabel Yellin, is a mirror. A 2019 sculpture by Alison Veit titled January, it’s actually two reflective surfaces in a frame of Hydro-Stone and sand in the shape of a figure eight.
