MDDM Studio completes House on the Great Wall in China

Beijing-based MDDM Studio has extended a house near the Great Wall of China by transforming a nearby storage unit into minimalist living quarters. 
The extension – which is aptly titled House on the Great Wall – has contemporary living spaces set amongst aged stone walls.It was previously an unassuming building that has been used to store fruit trees for the local village for over the past 50 years.
