Geometric perforations characterise coloured concrete housing block in Mexico

Mexican studio Miguel de la Torre Arquitectos has designed the Real de Los Reyes housing complex in Mexico City's Coyoacán neighbourhood, which features coloured concrete facades pierced with circular perforations.
The housing block includes 13 individual homes formed from rectilinear reinforced concrete volumes in a distinctive terracotta hue with perforated latticework in Coyoacán, a former village that continues to be known as the cultural heart of Mexico City.
