Gold Torques of “International Importance” Found in Britain

STAFFORDSHIRE, ENGLAND—BBC News reports that several pieces of Iron Age gold jewelry have been found spread out, just below the surface on farmland in the West Midlands by a pair of metal detectorists. The two men handed the artifacts over to the Portable Antiquities Scheme of Birmingham Museums.
