Wall Street higher as financial, consumer stocks rise

REUTERS – Wall Street was higher in mid-morning trading on Monday, helped by a rise in financial and consumer discretionary stocks.
The S&P 500, which has risen about 15 percent since February, is about 3 percent short of its all-time high, boosted by recovering oil prices and an accommodative Federal Reserve.
