Wall St makes small gains at the open; Yellen awaited

(Reuters) – Wall Street opened slightly higher on Tuesday, minutes before Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen was scheduled to speak before the Senate Banking Committee on the monetary policy.
Yellen will also attend a meeting at 4:30 p.m. ET with other Fed officials.
