U.S. suspends search for missing Marines after crash off Australia

WASHINGTON/SYDNEY, Aug 6 (Reuters) – The U.S. Navy andMarine Corps suspended their search and rescue efforts on Sundayfor three U.S. Marines missing after their aircraft crashed intothe sea off Australia’s northeast coast a day earlier, the U.S.Marine Corps said.
